| Prof. Liming ZhouJilin University, China Liming Zhou, born in 1982, is a “Tang Aoqing Scholar” professor and PhD supervisor at Jilin University. He earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees at Jilin University (2001–2011) and completed postdoctoral research in mechanical engineering. He became associate professor in 2015 and full professor in 2020. His research centers on computational solid mechanics, notably developing a multiphysics smoothed finite element method for magnetoelectroelastic composites, and has independently created related MATLAB solvers. He also studies micromechanics, multiscale composites, and mechanical structure testing. Zhou is a council member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, president of the Jilin Society of Mechanics, and a committee member of the China Machinery Industry Education Association. He received the 2023 Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award (1st prize) and leads several national and provincial research projects. Since 2019, he has published over 90 SCI papers in leading journals, holds multiple patents and software copyrights, and has supervised numerous outstanding doctoral and master’s theses. |
